UltraGlide® - Features a single retractable cord or wand depending on your window treatment choice. The cord and wand always remains a constant length when raising and lowering your window treatments. With no long, dangling cords, UltraGlide® offers enhanced child and pet safety.

SoftTouch™- This battery-powered system allows for quick touch-and-go functionality. Move your shades by gently pulling down or pushing up on the wand. Tangled cords are a thing of the past, making the SoftTouch™ Motorization system an ideal option for homes with pets and children.

EasyRise™ - Perfect for opening and closing larger shades without the hassle of dangling cords. The EasyRise™ system is a continuous cord loop, specially engineered for smooth, easy operation.

Duolite® - The ideal option for controlling light and privacy. Give yourself ultimate flexibility with the Duolite® design option—a system that combines two separate fabrics, one light filtering, the other room darkening, into a single shade. Available in both manual and motorized operation.

A Deux™ - Silhouette® A Deux™ combines a Silhouette shade and a room-darkening roller shade providing many options for light control. Available in both manual and motorized operation.

Operating your Hunter Douglas Silhouette Blinds is easy using one of the following operating systems:
- EasyRise™ system, a continuous cord loop.
- UltraGlide® system is a single retractable cord or wand, lower and open the shade with one pull.
- LiteRise® system is cordless, raise/lower/tilt the vanes simply by hand.
- SoftTouch™ battery-powered motorization system, open your shades by pushing up on the wand, close your shades by gently pulling down.
- PowerView® battery-powered motorization system, move your shades with your tablet, smartphone or Pebble® Remote, voice command.

For routine cleaning, dust with a feather duster or vacuum lightly using a hand-held vacuum. For more thorough cleaning, professionally clean ultrasonically or by using the injection/extraction cleaning method.

Silhouette Duolite® shades combine one sheer shade in the front and one room darkening roller shade in the back, into a single shade. Can be operated manually and motorized. Duolite uses only one PowerView motor. The front sheer shade lowers and opens, then the back room darkening roller shade layer lowers.

Silhouette A Deux™ shades combine one sheer shade in the front and one room darkening roller shade in the back that works independently of the shade. Can be operated manually and motorized. Because of this independent roller shade operation, it requires a larger headrail and two completely different operating systems.

Hunter Douglas Nantucket shades offer the same quality and functionality of Hunter Douglas Silhouette shades but narrow down the selection of fabrics, thus reducing the costs of each shade. Great option if you're on a budget. Check out our brochure.

The battery life for SoftTouch shades with the AA battery wand is approximately two years, depending on shading size, configuration and usage.
