Design Trade Partner Qualifications
Join the Fashion Interiors Trade Program
The Fashion Interiors Trade Program is available to qualified professionals in the design, building, architecture, and related industries. Our program is designed for professionals who regularly specify, purchase, recommend, or manage window treatments and related products for their clients and projects.
Who Qualifies?
Eligible professionals may include:
- Interior Designers & Decorators
- Architects
- Builders & Remodelers
- General Contractors
- Developers
- Home Stagers
- Hospitality & Commercial Design Professionals
- Furniture & Home Furnishing Professionals
- Other Qualified Design & Building Professionals
Membership Requirements
To apply for the Fashion Interiors Trade Program, please submit the following:
1. Completed Trade Program Application
Complete and submit our Trade Program application with your current business and contact information.
2. W-9 Form
A completed W-9 Form is required for approved Trade accounts.
3. Professional Qualification
Please provide at least one of the following:
- Current Business License
- Certificate of Incorporation or Certificate of Organization
- Design-Related Degree or Professional Certification
- Five or More Years of Relevant Design or Industry Experience
- Current membership in a recognized professional organization, such as:
- American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)
- International Interior Design Association (IIDA)
- American Institute of Architects (AIA)
- Other professional documentation demonstrating involvement in the design, building, architecture, or related industry
Resale & Tax-Exempt Purchasing
Trade Partners who wish to purchase products for resale without paying sales tax must provide a valid Seller’s Permit and completed Resale Certificate, or other applicable state resale documentation.
If valid resale documentation is not provided, applicable sales tax will be charged.
Tax requirements may vary depending on the location of the business, project, and delivery.
How to Apply
Ready to become a partner?
Submit your completed Trade Program application along with the required supporting documentation. Once your application has been reviewed, we will contact you regarding your Trade Program status.
Fashion Interiors reserves the right to review and approve Trade Program applications and may request additional documentation when necessary. Trade Program benefits, pricing, discounts, and terms are subject to current program guidelines.
