Our Lutron Palladiom metal bottom rail is made of extruded aluminum and is 3/8″ high. Built with a rubber fabric-pinching spline. The bottom bar sits parallel to the window sill when the shade is lowered. When the shade is raised, the bottom bar is perfectly hidden behind the shade roll.
