Reupholstery is the process of removing and replacing the fabric, foam inside and possible repair of frame and springs as needed. We do not recommend only changing the fabric, as the condition of the inside will determine the ultimate look of the piece of furniture.

2. Save Money - Is your furniture a perfect fit for your home and find it difficult to get a new piece of furniture with the same shape. Due to availability and/or cost. Reupholstery may actually cost less that buying a new one piece of furniture. But this is heavily dependent on your fabric selection.

Before you start, consider the cost of the fabric, trims, and the labor involved to make the product like new, as it may not make sense financially to reupholster a piece of furniture at this time.

A typical sofa lasts between 7 to 15 years on average. It's a good idea to think about reupholstery before: (1) the fabric become worn and stained, (2) the frame begins squeaking or breaking down, (3) the seats begin to sag and no longer provide any support.

Leather sofas are considered to be very durable and often times can last longer than your typical fabric sofa. Want the leather look but in a lighter color? Lighter leather sofas are known to be less stain resistant but are still easier to clean than a sofa with white fabric. Leather sofas do still require occasional maintenance to keep it in top shape.
