General Warranty

Fashion Interiors extends full manufacturers' warranties on all goods sold in accordance with factory guidelines based on normal use for all products provided by Fashion Interiors and installed by our own installers. Every item provided by Fashion Interiors is warranted to be free of manufacturing defects and will be installed in accordance with factory guidelines and provided specifications.


We can service any window covering product under warranty if the product has originally been installed by Fashion Interiors certified installers. The warranty for different brands varies, however, none covers the labor fees involved for pick up, delivery, installation and shipping charges. Please contact Customer Service for further inquiry.

  • Installation Warranty

    At Fashion Interiors, we offer a Limited Installation warranty covering defects and issues resulting from installation or repair work. Fashion Interiors guarantees the quality of the labor for up to 1 year from the date of your window treatment installation that is performed by our professional technicians. 


    The installation warranty does not cover normal wear and tear and damage resulting from improper use, battery replacements, re-programming shades after interference with other vendors such as AV contractors and/or other involved contractors in the project.


    The installation warranty does not apply to product defects. Product defects are covered under the applicable manufacturer’s product warranties.


    Product pick up, drop off and shipping charges are not covered under Installation or any manufacturer's warrany.


  • Manufacturer’s Warranty

    Please note, the manufacturer’s warranty covers defects and issues in the material and workmanship of the products for the specified time frame. Manufacturer’s will not cover labor and shipping costs involved through out the warranty claim process.


    Manufacturer’s Warranty does not cover damages caused by abuse, accidents or misuse of the product. Furthermore, the standard manufacturer’s warranty only covers the original owner, for residential installations only. All products must be installed by professional and certified installers, otherwise the manufacturers’ warranties might not provide coverage.

  • How to file a warranty claim, if the product was purchased from Fashion Interiors

    1. Contact Fashion Interiors customers service to open a new case.


    2. Describe the issue. Please explain the problem and its frequency as thoroughly as possible. You can also take photos and possibly capture the claim on video to help expedite the process.


    3. Follow the claims process. Fashion Interiors may try to troubleshoot the issue over the phone, text or email to see if the issue will be resolved. If not possible, you will be contacted to set up an appointment for a service call visit by one of our expert service technicians


    4. Fashion Interiors will determine the most effective resolution to any warranty claim by reviewing the provided information and setting up the steps to resolve and to follow through until the claim is resolved.


    5. Possible solutions to resolve your case may include on site or at the shop repair and/or adjustment, product replacement with the same or similar product per manufacturer’s specific guidelines.

  • Corradi

    Corradi Outdoor Solutions - Non-prorated Warranty


    Corradi's warranty is not prorated, i.e. it is 100% valid for the entire stipulated duration, usually 5 years for wood and 10 years for aluminum. 


    The warranty, which remains valid if the conditions of installation and use specified in the user manual of each product are respected, includes the repair or replacement free of charge (excluding labor) of all components that may be found to be non-compliant or otherwise defective. 


  • Hunter Douglas

     Lifetime Limited Warranty


    COVERED

    • Hunter Douglas window fashion products are covered for defects in materials, workmanship or failure to operate for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product (unless shorter periods are provided below)
    • All internal mechanisms.
    • Components and brackets.
    • Fabric delamination.
    • Operational cords for a full 7 years from the date of purchase.
    • Repairs and/or replacements will be made with like or similar parts or products.
    • Hunter Douglas motorization components are covered for 5 years from the date of purchase.

    NOT COVERED

    • Any conditions caused by normal wear and tear.
    • Abuse, accidents, misuse or alterations to the product.
    • Exposure to the elements (sun damage, wind, water/ moisture) and discoloration or fading over time.
    • Failure to follow Hunter Douglas instructions with respect to measurement, proper installation, cleaning or maintenance.
    • Shipping charges, cost of removal and reinstallation labor.
  • Insolroll

    Insolroll Window Shading Systems - Product Limited Warranty

  • KE Durasol

    KE Durasol awnings come with different warranties depending on the model:


    • Domina - This awning has a limited lifetime frame warranty and a 10-year fabric warranty. It's available in widths from 6'5" to 20' and can be mounted on a roof, soffit, or wall.

    • Regal - This awning has an 8-year structure warranty and a 10-year fabric warranty. It's available in widths from 6'1" to 23' and can be mounted on a roof, soffit, or wall.

    • Elite Plus - This adjustable awning has a limited lifetime warranty and can be mounted on a wall, soffit, or roof.

    • Onyx - This awning has a 5-year warranty on the framework, frame finish, motors, and electronics. It's available in widths up to 40' and can be mounted on a wall or soffit.
  • Lutron

    Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. Shading Solutions - Eight Year Limited Warranty


    This limited warranty (“Warranty”) covers the Lutron supplied (a) Serena Shades, (b) Sivoia Shade System, (c) Palladiom Shade System (each of the foregoing (a)-(c) being a “Shade System”), (d) manual shade system and

    (e) alternating current or a/c shade system (each of the foregoing (a)-(e) being a “System”). Customer acknowl- edges and agrees that use of the System constitutes acceptance of all terms and conditions of this Warranty.


    Subject to the exclusions and restrictions described below, Lutron warrants that each System will be free from manufacturing defects from the date of shipment by Lutron for a period of (a) one year as to the wall controls, interfaces and system accessories of the Shade System (“External Components”) and (b) eight years as to the other Systems and the electronic drive unit, shade fabric and shade hardware of the Shade System. If any manufacturing defect exists in the External Components, so long as Customer promptly notifies Lutron of the defect within the one year warranty period and, if requested by Lutron, returns the defective part(s), Lutron will, at its option, either repair the defective part(s) or provide comparable replacement part(s). If any manufacturing defect exists in any of the components of a System other than the External Components, so long as Customer promptly notifies Lutron of the defect within the eight year warranty period and, if requested by Lutron, returns the defective part(s), Lutron will, at its option, either repair the defective part(s) or issue a credit to the Customer against the purchase price of comparable replacement part(s) purchased from Lutron.


    Replacement parts for the System provided by Lutron or, at its sole discretion, an approved vendor may be new, used, repaired, reconditioned, and/or made by a different manufacturer.


    EXCLUSIONS AND RESTRICTIONS


    This Warranty will be void, and Lutron and its suppliers will have no responsibility under this Warranty, if Lutron or its representatives cannot access any components of the System to inspect, diagnose problems with or repair the System or any of its components as a result of concealment or inaccessibility of such components within a building structure.


    This Warranty does not cover, and Lutron and its suppliers are not responsible for:


    1. Damage, malfunction or inoperability diagnosed by Lutron or a Lutron approved third party as caused by normal wear and tear, abuse, misuse, incorrect installation, neglect, accident, interference or environmental factors, such as (a) use of incorrect line voltages fuses or circuit breakers; (b) failure to install, maintain and operate the System pursuant to the operating instructions provided by Lutron and the applicable provisions of the National Electrical Code and of the Safety Standards of Laboratories; (c) use of incompatible devices or accessories; (d) improper or insufficient ventilation; (e) unauthorized repairs or adjustments or alterations; (f) vandalism; (g) an act of God, such as fire, lightning, flooding, tornado, earthquake, hurricane or other problems beyond Lutron’s control; or (h) direct exposure to corrosive materials.
    2. On-site labor costs to diagnose issues with, and remove, repair, replace, adjust, reinstall and/or reprogram the System or any of its components.
    3. Components and equipment external to the System, such as, non-Lutron lighting and automation systems; building wiring audio-visual equipment; and non-Lutron time clocks, photosensors and motion detectors.
    4. The cost of repairing or replacing other property that is damaged when any System does not work properly, even if the damage was caused by the System.
  • Somfy

    5 Year Warranty


    Somfy offers product suppliers a 5-year warranty on all motors and controls. Specifically, Somfy warrants its motors and controls to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of 5 years commencing with the date stamped on each product. If the Somfy product fails within this 5-year period, Somfy will repair or replace it free of charge through your original product supplier.

  • Sunbrella

    5-Year Limited Warranty


    Glen Raven, Inc.  stands behind their Sunbrella fabrics with the most comprehensive warranty in the industry. Their 5-year limited warranty guarantees against fabric becoming unserviceable due to Loss of color or Loss of strength from normal usage and exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew, and atmospheric chemicals when used for appropriate applications. 


    This warranty does not cover normal care and cleaning; damage from misuse or abuse; improper installation; or costs associated with replacement of the fabric, including labor and installation, except as noted in this warranty.


  • Custom Drapery

    Limited Warranty


    WHAT IS COVERED 


    You can be sure that your fabric window treatment will be hand made to the exact specifications your window requires. Every product will be made with fine attention to detail and the highest standards of fabrication. Fashion Interiors extends a Warranty on custom fabrication and hardware for materials and workmanship defects reported within 30 days of original installation. If you notice any defect in materials or fabrication, notify us within the Warranty period and we will determine the best way expedite repair or remake your product in order to correct the defect. 


    WHO IS COVERED 


    This Warranty extends to the original residential retail purchaser only. 


    WHAT IS NOT COVERED 


    This Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or any damage or loss caused by accidents; alterations; environmental effects; misuse or user error; abuse or extraordinary use; exposure to salt air; insect damage; improper cleaning and maintenance. Warranties shall cease to be in effect if product has been moved from its original place of installation. All fabrics, woods, metals, and painted or stained finishes will gradually lose their color intensity over time and with exposure to sun. This color loss can vary depending on fiber, material and degree of sun exposure and is not covered by the Warranty. 


    WHAT WILL WE DO TO CORRECT DEFECTS


    If Fashion Interiors drapery products are found to be defective during the Warranty period, we will at our discretion either; repair or replace, without charge, the defective product. Discontinued items will be replaced with the closest equivalent current product. 


    CARE AND MAINTENANCE 


    Never wash, launder or use a hot iron on your custom treatments. As needed, vacuum any accumulated dust from the surface of your treatment with a clean soft brush attachment. Depending on the conditions where the draperies are installed, professional dry cleaning may be needed approximately every three to five years. Only use reputable dry cleaners that specialize in cleaning custom drapery. 


    NO LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES 


    Repair or replacement of defective products is the sole remedy under this Warranty and in no event shall Fashion Interiors be liable for additional costs including incidental or consequential damages.

  • Indoor Fabric Warranty

    All our fabric suppliers make no guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied, as to the fitness or merchantability of their fabrics unless expressly stated. Drapery fabrics, due to yarn contents, construction, humidity, etc., will expand or contract under certain conditions. This is inherent to the fabric. Our Fabric providers and Fashion Interiors will not be responsible should this situation occur. Sufficient fabric allowances are usually made for hems for later adjustments, should it become necessary. Please know any future adjustments to remedy this unpredictable expand or contraction, can be made if enough hem is reserved and if you accept the labor charges involved to unhem and re-fabricate your soft treatment.
